We are von den Bären Shepherds who specialize in quality long stock German Shepherds that are hand raised to perfection. We live and operate up in Northern California, roughly 1.5 hours from Reno, NV and 1 hour North of Sacramento, CA. Our dogs are an integral part of our family and are not kept in kennels their entire life. We have an extensive facility allowing for plenty of open space and exercise for each and every dog and puppy every day.
We do not push hundreds of puppies through every year, instead we focus on proper dam and puppy care before, during and after each litter. We focus on ensuring each puppy is socialized correctly and is placed in the best home suited for each personality.
Our dogs are bred to the highest of standard for rich red and black pigmentation, correct conformation with high drive for work. Breeding quality German Shepherds and adhering to the breed standard is an absolute passion of ours. We do not breed for money or accolades but truly because we love the breed and want to continue to improve the dog.
Our puppies come with full or limited American Kennel Club registration and an 18 month health guarantee. We strive to have 100% satisfaction with our dogs and are committed to each and every puppy for the entirety of it's life.
